Conspar has been carrying out waterproofing and tiling works to an apartment in inner-city Perth.
The apartment was experiencing moisture ingress damage.
Following a Conspar investigation it was discovered the waterproof membrane installed at the courtyard adjacent was insufficient and therefore ineffective as a barrier against water penetration and transfer.
The works by Conspar included removing the original tiles and air conditioner, preparing surfaces, installing adequate drainage systems, screed and a waterproofing system, reinstating the air conditioner and installing new tiles chosen by the owner from a selection sourced by Conspar.
Conspar, established in 1969 and locally-owned and operated, is led by two registered builders, a registered architect and a registered painter with a team of experienced building repair technicians who carry out all works to Australian Standards.
